Fund Raising Programs

In these tight economic times every school is feeling the pinch of tight budgets and limited resources and a number of essential services and programs are being threatened.

Previously, schools raised money for these "extras" by having their students sell chocolate bars, fruit or a variety of other products within the community. However, in a lot of school districts, having the students selling products door-to-door is no longer an option. So in light of this new reality,  the School House Curriculum Centre has developed a passive fundraising program to help you and your students get the extra dollars that you need for your school.

Our passive fundraising program allows your school to by-pass all the old problems and hassles associated with a school fundraiser. Your students are not canvassing the neighborhood and your teachers are not spending their time on sales related problems. When so many people are expressing a reluctance to have their children get involved with sales, our passive fundraising program can accomplish the goal of raising money without crossing any lines that might make a person uncomfortable. Our programs can generate streams of income without too much of an effort and the best part of all is that they are in place for all 365 days of the year, not just the school year.

The greatest amount of work you'd need to do would be in the beginning when you're investigating it, figuring out how to customize it for your school, and advertising it to your supporters. After that, your biggest job is to remind people that these opportunities exist and don't stop existing, even in the summer months, so the money keeps flowing into your coffers on a year-round basis.

The parents of your students will appreciate this passive fundraising program, too, because they won't have to give up any of their time, nor will they have to make any expenditures that they wouldn't normally do. Once parents are aware that their child's school has a robust passive fundraising program, not only would they participate in this program, but they would also encourage their friends and family to participate in it too. By the end of the school year, each family may contribute a total of a couple hundred dollars. This is potentially  more that they would have done for a second or third product sale and all of this is accomplished without one student knocking on one door to sell chocolate bars, citrus fruit or seeds.

Here is a list of some of our passive fundraising programs. All of these programs can operate 365 days per year. All you have to do is to create a mindset on behalf of the students' parents that this is a very important way they can help.

If you would like to discuss any of our passive fund raising programs, please send us an email and one of our representative will contact you within 24 hours.
